Winemaker Notes
Our 2019 600R’s aromas of black cherry, vanilla creme, and black raspberry are thrilling. From the first sip, the wine has a silky texture and vibrancy of fruit, with a long and sensual finish. As delicious as a cherry cordial, and as rich and graceful as the finest red wines, the 2019 600R will remind you of Merlot’s potential for greatness, a potential which we believe has been reached in this bottling.
Vineyard Notes
Through further study of the Cooley Ranch, distinct blocks like Sky High, Thompson and Prune Orchard caught the eye of winemaker Justin Seidenfeld and winegrower Ryan Decker. These blocks inspired a sister wine to 600L which we have named 600R, paying homage to the legendary Merlot and Cabernet Franc blends from the Right Bank region of Bordeaux.
